About the Round the Clock Rescue Run

Our collaborator Will Richards, also extreme athlete and animal welfare champion, will embark on his first challenge in Australia on September 7th. He will start at the Dogs’ Refuge Home and undertake a 24-hour run around Perry Lakes, aiming to cover 120 km.
The Dogs’ Refuge Home, a no-kill shelter, has saved approximately 62,000 dogs. On average, it costs around $2,500 to care for each dog during their stay, while the adoption fee is about $500, leaving a substantial funding gap, generously covered by the community.
Will aims to raise $15,000 through this challenge, which will only cover 10% of the projected $500,000 in vet bills the refuge will incur this year.
